Why snorkeling ?

One can get a very good feeling of the reef and underwater creatures just by snorkeling and can be the first step in exploring the blue seas.

Also you can get used with breathing and move to scuba diving afterwards.

What gear is needed ?

Only snorkel and mask are needed. Fins are recommended for better floatability and to cover a longer distance in the reef.

Considering most spots are in sunny areas a t-shirt or a rash guard is highly recommended to prevent sunburns.

Who can practice snorkeling ?

Snorkeling is a good fit for everybody who can swim and is not afraid of water. No preparation is needed.

Where ?

All the tropical seas with good visibility, low current and warm waters are good for practice. Keep in mind that for observing corals and the sealife the water should be shallow.
